Web Site HelpPreferred Web BrowsersThis site has been designed to be viewed with any web browser of fairly recent vintage. Certain features may, however, be best viewed with a modern browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari for Mac. In addition, you'll find that the site is easier to navigate while using a screen resolution of 800x600 or greater. Media formatsOur web site makes extensive use of audio and video in both QuickTime and Real formats. To listen or watch any of the programs available at our site, you can download the latest versions of the free media players from Apple and Real Networks respectively: Our RealAudio and Video clips are currently encoded at multiple bit rates using Real's SureStream technology, which monitors the speed of your internet connection and adjusts delivery quality accordingly. QuickTime versions are also encoded at a variety of bit rates: be sure to specify your connection speed in the QuickTime preference pane or control panel. (You may wish to choose a lower connection speed than your actual connection allows – for example, if you would like to trade some audio quality in return for freeing up some bandwidth to continue surfing the web while you listen.) If you experience difficulties connecting to any of our QuickTime material and you are behind a firewall (for example, if you are viewing on a corporate LAN or have a home router or wireless network setup), check Apple's website for advice.
